Almonds are a great way to minimize puffy eyes, dark circles and eye wrinkles. They help nourish your skin and hair due to their richness in polyphenols, antioxidants, essential fatty acids, proteins, magnesium, fiber, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, potassium, zinc, calcium, etc.
A pilot study, written up in Phytotherapy Research, shows a 10% decrease of wrinkle width and wrinkle severity decrease of 9% in the group of women eating almonds. Researchers stated “daily consumption of almonds may prevent progression of normal aging including wrinkles”.
