WHY IS IT BENEFICIAL? The skin continually produces new cells to repave its surface and refresh your skin. Normally, dead skin cells are flushed up and out of the pores with the flow of the skin oil produced inside the pore. In some cases, these cells multiply faster and stick together forming an impaction within the pore. Bacteria then grows within the pore causing a blemish, a white head or blackhead, which becomes visible. These formations are called comedones. The use of a glycolic acid can promote the exfoliation process and help to flush out the pore to minimize the occurrence of these comedones.
WHO SHOULD USE IT? Anyone who falls into the following category would benefit from the use of an exfoliation product that helps to minimize the accumulation of dead skin cells and eliminate excessive oil and bacteria within the pores: Oily Skin, Hyperpigmented Skin, Acne/Problem Skin, Dry Skin, Mature or Sun Damaged Skin, Men with ingrown facial hair from shaving (pseudofolliculitis barbae), Before the use of a Sunless Tanner.
WHO SHOULD NOT USE IT? Anyone with the following conditions should refrain from the use of Glycolic or any other acid which may irritate the skin, such as: Skin Lesions, Moles, Active Cold Sores/Fever Blisters, Psoriasis, Sunburn, Open Skin Sores of any Kind, Razor Cuts from Shaving, immediately following Waxing (48 hours), immediately following Hair Color or Processing (48 hours).
DIRECTIONS: Use in the evening, three times weekly or as needed. Highly recommend to spot treat with a Qtip for that volcano on your face J . Apply to clean, dry skin. Allow to penetrate for 5-15 minutes. Then rinse well with lukewarm water until completely removed. To prevent pigmentation we strongly recommend the use of sun block such as the SolarShade™ SPF 45 or the ColorShade™ SPF 30+ available in four tints Light/Medium/Dark/Ebony.

You will see results after 3 applications. If your skin is oily and acne prone to see results must use at least 4 or 5 times a week with 1 hour application. If tolerated you can sleep with it, but try that process slowly.
Also note you can spot treat with a Q tip!
