skincare-ingredientsWhen I think of Glycerin I think of hydration. When in a skin care seminar recently I heard a speaker refer to glycerin as a humectant, which is the technical term for attracts water.  Good to know since skin contain 64% water. Glycerin is an ingredient made from natural products such as, vegetable oil.  When apply on the body glycerin maintains and balances the water level in your skin. It is an ingredient that prevents dry skin, helps fight psoriasis and accelerates healing.

Insider fact:  Besides all the hydrating benefits of glycerin, Chemists also like the ingredient because it promotes shelf life and prevents ingredients from oxidization witch means, lose their potency too fast.
