The simplest and best change you can do for your skin is to drink lots of water. Water hydrates the skin cells and cleans out toxins. Many beverages can actually harm the skin. Avoid drinking alcohol and coffee that cause the small blood vessels, under the skin surface to widen.
When eating avoid highly processed foods and food with saturated and trans fats. Try incorporating more whole grains into your diet, as well as plenty of fresh vegetables, fruit, and lean protein. This will help control inflammation and make skin tone appear more even. Limit the amount of soda, sugary snacks, and other “junk foods” whenever possible, these foods tend to trigger breakouts. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain!
